Pha Khao Ma Course

(Thai Cloth Massage)

The Pha Khao Ma Certification for massage, is an immersive 2-day in-person training designed to equip massage therapists and other bodywork practitioners with a transformative and sustainable new approach to their massage

This certification addresses the widespread issue of burnout and physical strain among therapists, offering a solution to replace outdated, unsustainable methods that can lead to chronic health issues and even force practitioners to leave the profession within 3-5 years.

Led by Dr. Amanda Diep, Dr. Ac., R.M.T., with over 20 years of experience, the course introduces traditional Thai cloth massage (Pa Khao Ma massage) as an ingenious tool that allows for deeper, more holistic results without pain or excessive effort.

You’ll learn to protect your wrists, thumbs, and back by leveraging body mechanics and cloth resistance instead of brute force, accessing fascial planes and energy pathways that finger pressure alone cannot reach.

Train Smarter. Stretch Deeper. Prevent Burnout!

This program is a complete reset, not just an add-on technique. It teaches a full treatment system rooted in Eastern medicine and tradition, helping you develop a signature approach that combines ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic understanding.

Graduates can finally distinguish themselves in a crowded market, offer a premium service, and potentially increase session rates anywhere between  15-30% due to the unique value and enhanced results clients experience. The focus on body preservation also extends career longevity, potentially adding years or decades to your professional life.
This course is ideal if you’re experiencing physical pain, want to stand out, struggle with rebook rates, or seek to elevate your skills and incorporate Eastern healing traditions respectfully

Given that training dates are offered only a few times per year with limited spots to ensure hands-on guidance, interested practitioners are encouraged to secure their spot as cohorts fill quickly.

Full Course Description

This 2-day Pka Khao ma (pronouced pa ka ma), in-person certification provides licensed massage therapists with practical, hands-on training in a culturally-rooted, therapeutic cloth-assisted technique that aligns with the massage therapy scope of practice.

The method combines passive stretching, traction, decompression, and body mobilization — all applied using a cloth (a specialized form of Thai Massage) as a clinical tool to support the practitioner’s biomechanics and enhance treatment effectiveness.

Rooted in Thai therapeutic traditions and adapted for modern clinical environments, this Pha Khao Ma certification enhances a therapist’s ability to offer safe, ethical, and outcome-oriented care to a wide range of clients, while reducing long-term strain on their own body.

This is a clinical protocol-based course, supported by anatomical awareness, proper draping, informed consent, and contraindication screening — all of which support safe, effective therapeutic delivery within the massage profession.
