No. This course is beginner-friendly and will teach you everything you need from scratch. A background in massage or bodywork is helpful and recommended, as familiarity with anatomy and hands-on technique will give you a head start.
No. This course teaches you everything step-by-step, from how to facial lymphatic drainage massage to advanced buccal release. A massage or esthetics background helps, but isn’t required.
Yes. While buccal techniques are included, the focus here is on lymph drainage face massage and lymphatic drainage massage techniques, integrated with energy work and sculpting for a full reset.
Your certification does not expire. However, Dr. Amanda recommends retaking the course if you haven’t practiced the techniques for over a year, to ensure skill retention and uphold safety standards.
Absolutely. You’ll be trained by Dr. Amanda Diep, a 20-year veteran RMT and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, who emphasizes proper technique, thorough hygiene (including gloving and sanitation), contraindications, and client safety. You’ll learn everything needed to apply these methods safely and effectively, adapting them to different clients.
Yes — these are core components of the course. You will practice lymphatic drainage for the face, as well as facial sculpting methods like gua sha scraping and vacuum cupping. All of these techniques are taught hands-on during the training.
Do I need to be a licensed therapist to take this course?
No license is required to enroll. We welcome estheticians, bodyworkers, and other healing professionals. That said, having a background in massage or skincare will be an advantage, as you’ll be familiar with many of the concepts and anatomy discussed in class.
While our in-person trainings are currently held in Calgary, we do offer e-learning courses and resources that you can access globally through eLearnPedia.
