BluetoothBluetooth:  Bluetooth is an industrial specification for wireless personal area networks (PANs). Bluetooth provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices such as mobile phones, laptops, PCs, printers, digital cameras and video game consoles via a secure, globally unlicensed short-range radio frequency. Bluetooth let’s these devices communicate with each other when they are in range.




Ricochet:  Ricochet is a new network architecture designed for high-speed wireless networks. A Ricochet network is created by placing wireless radio devices in various locations throughout an area, such as on street corners in a city. Then wireless devices using Ricochet modems can access the radio devices to connect to the network. The Ricochet network architecture can transfer information at speeds of up to 128 kbps.
